I am currently working on a science fiction trilogy speculating about what will happen to humanity pre and post Singularity. If you don't know what the Singularity is, you should. The Singularity is to technologists what the Rapture is to Christians.

Futurist Alvin Toffler said that "Future shock is the shattering stress and disorientation that we induce in individuals by subjecting them to too much change in too short a time." We are already entering a state of future shock. Perhaps we have been there for a while.

My Evermore books are about what happens when old ideas and new ideas clash in momentous ways and completely change the world we live in. Stephen King published a novel called Under the Dome in 2009 that he began working on in 1976. His pace on that book and my pace on the Evermore series are about even at the moment.
