Managed a staff of seven employees at multiple locations, planned and oversaw major projects, developed business continuity plan, developed training plan, implemented SANs, blade servers and virtualization using VMWare.Planned and deployed ERP product (Viewpoint CS).

November 2005- November 2006

Web Architect & Project Manager. Multi-National Force, Baghdad, Iraq
Design architect and project manager for the Multi-National Force, Iraq web site. Deployed to Iraq with the 124 Mobile Public Affairs Detachment (National Guard) and was responsible for the creation of the underlying content management system that powers the web site using an open source product called Joomla!

Provided organizational information systems planning, support and help desk functions. Budgeted, documented and researched all IT related functions. Developed bid system and implemented e-mail services.

Corporate and retail computer hardware salesman. Responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of all major available brands of workstations, laptops, monitors, printers and other peripherals. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily digestible layman's terms.

Public affairs. Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina
Served as a key component of MCRD Parris Island public affairs team (the civilian equivalent of a journalist/public relations employee.) Responsible for publishing a weekly newspaper, conducting depot tours requested by various groups, and other media relations and marketing efforts on behalf of the commanding general. Awarded several Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medals for various suggestions that improved operations while reducing expenditures.
